Very nice place just like the pictures And described.

Very nice to have private areas and lots of common areas. Codes to access each area have an added level of security. The only room for improvement is that the light switches to lights orientation was confusing. This was noted by four of our guests during our stay. Having kitchen, living room in many of the units made visiting others very easy, even on a rainy day in Palm Springs. The covered walkways are great for hot sun coverage or keeping you dry in rain. Location is great with plenty of parking.

This was a great little oasis for our work retreat. The facilities were wonderful and host was very responsive. The rooms could use some updating in the near future but overall everything was great, clean and as shown in the pictures.

Amazing! I found this place for my cousin’s bachelorette. We spent a whole weekend there with 20+ people. We spent comfortably, chilled by the pool, watched movies and went out on the town. It was an amazing AirBnB, looking just like the pictures! 10/10

Absolutely the most amazing space for a large group! Very private and safe, and love that everyone had their own space! Will definitely be back again in the future. Host was very accommodating and communicative when needs arose, but everything was impeccable. We truly need more spaces like this throughout the country!

We will definitely be back! Great spot for a group of people and mini vacation. Michael and his team were really easy to work with, and super communicative. We had 12 people and there was plenty of room and everything was exactly as photographed. The property is very private and we had the best time.

We had a group of 16 for a girls trip and it was perfect for us. Great location, fun pool area and good rooms. 10/10 recommend!

I stayed for a few days with a group of 24 and it was a great spot! We loved that the pool was in the middle of all of the rooms and it was decorated beautifully- lots of social media worthy areas. Michael, the host, was very quick to respond to my questions and was very friendly throughout our trip, checking in on us to make sure our group was happy. Check in and out was easy. Just know that there is not one inside kitchen, only the outside kitchen, so cooking for our big group was tricky, but we made it work. We would absolutely recommend this property!

Michael was hugely accommodating and made our stay so special! I was hosting a group of women for a getaway retreat and the space was perfect! Everyone had their own room, but we still had lots of common spaces to hang and connect! Only thing I’d recommend is outdoor heaters or a fire pit because the desert gets real chilly at night!!! Def would recommend for your next group trip! So many fun pic opportunities too!

Michael was an exceptional host and his Spirit of Sophia was the ideal location for our 18 person group. The property is exactly as described. Each of the bungalows was well air conditioned and had great linens, decor and amenities. The pool was so fun too as was the outdoor lounge space. We loved how the rooms opened up to the pool area. We really appreciated that the suite with three bedrooms had a great indoor lounge area where we fit comfortably when we had to pull the group inside. We had an amazing time in late July! Thanks for having us Michael we look forward to returning.

Everything was as advertised. This spot is a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a great place to party by the pool. The outdoor area fit our whole party of 27 comfortably. Everyone’s room was private, clean and equipped with a small to full size kitchen. A few of the sofas were a better fit for one person rather than two but if you really wanted a full party of 30, it’s definitely doable. Micheal was very responsive and kind through out our whole stay. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Micheal and I spoke about getting misters for our weekend since his were not working at the time of our stay. He was clear with me about that and let us bring our own to set up over the lawn. It was a VERY necessary item to have for the weekend, we wouldn’t have been about to do it without them. It saved us from the 110 degree heat and let us enjoy the lawn area comfortably all day. We had a blast at the Spirit of Sofia! We were celebrating a 30th birthday and this space was perfect. It was so well decorated & we had plenty of room for a big group and every room had its own bathroom (except the 3 bedroom villa). This villa looked exactly the pictures (better, even) and was very clean when we arrived. We had one small AC leak problem when we arrived, but they fixed it the same day and I even got a voice mail from the general manager detailing exactly what the plan was to fix it, so that was helpful. Plenty of parking, close to downtown, close to two big grassy parks, close to a liquor store, close to a cute coffee shop (koffi), steam room was a great amenity, and the pool was nice and warm (we brought a bunch of pool floaties). Michael was the most responsive, helpful host I’ve ever communicated with on Airbnb. I am so happy with this rental and was sad to leave!!

Booked for a girls trip! They had zero complaints. Great spot for what we needed. Also were pleasantly surprised that most of rooms had their own private kitchenettes. And anytime we had a question (before and during our stay) the host was extremely quick to respond.

Michael was an excellent host and the Spirit of Sophia gave my work team the space we needed to both retreat and work together. The experience was great and the unique vibe of this place gave us plenty to enjoy.

If you’re hosting a small group whether it’s for a retreat or a friends/family gathering, this lodging is perfect and worth considering! Responsive and helpful host. Very cute rooms, pool area and garden. Tons of spots for fun photos. I rented this spot for a women’s wellness retreat and wanted an intimate location that could accommodate 11-20 people and it fit our needs perfectly. A lot of fun decor. Stocked kitchens and clean rooms, bathrooms. Highly recommend and I will definitely be renting it again for future retreats !!

This was an amazing place to stay for a joint bachelorette / bachelor party! We had 21 people stay comfortably (each person or couple had their own bed) and we had plenty of space for lounging, activities, pool time, movie night, meals, etc. We also appreciated how close it was to coffee shops (walkable!!) and everything we had planned downtown. I personally loved how aesthetic it was for all the pictures and memories we made this weekend :)I also appreciate Michael for his quick response every time I had any questions or requests. Would 10/10 recommend for a large group!

Such a dream of a vacation spot!

This property is even better than the photos on the website. We had a 4 day business Retreat at this location. We had 14 people attend and everyone fell in love with this place and wants to return next year. The rooms are decorated beautifully. the pool and the outdoor bar area are so convenient that we hung out there most of the time. It also has a hot tub and steam room. Everything was updated and the bathrooms were all beautifully remodeled. It had every amenity that you might expect from a hotel. This was the first time I have had a business retreat someplace other than a hotel so I was a little worried since I had not done a site visit prior to booking. The location is literally a mile from the town center and is close to grocery stores and tons of restaurants. The property is completely secure with a gated code. There is a beautiful space for the meetings that we held. I was the planner for this meeting and I reached out to our host several times day and night particularly the week before our event and I heard back from him immediately every time. All of our guests had a perfect experience. I recommend it for any group, it is lovely!

We will stay here again for sure! Amazing amenities, clean pool and bedrooms, beds were comfy and the hospitality is superb.Michael was super kind and helpful during the stay. It was an hassle-free process. We had a lot of fun and I really wish we could stay longer.

Michael's place is awesome! The bed was really comfortable. The pool was clean and our whole group enjoyed it. It was like our own private oasis. Michael was helpful during the stay. We will be back here again for our next family gathering!

This was a really fun, well decorated place for a fabulous girls’ weekend. All the rooms are suites separated with their own locks and some have kitchenettes. It would definitely be the perfect place for a bachelorette party. Michael was quick with feedback on any questions I had.

Communicative and clear, great host for a vacation! We had a long birthday/reunion weekend and everyone had their own private suite to stay in as well as plenty of community space to enjoy together.Great location and amenities, although I'd consider adding a cold-plunge - Palm Springs can get a bit warm...

Celebrated my wedding here with a group of friends, and everything was AMAZING! From the amenities, to the communication with the host, and being able to have fun in a group setting but still have your privacy was awesome. Thanks for a great weekend and great experience, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Such a fun spot! All of the bedrooms around the pool are equipped with their own bathroom which was great for privacy. The house came with a bunch of floaties and getting Ubers was super easy. Great stay!

I looked long and hard for the perfect venue to house my group of lady friends for the ultimate Palm Springs getaway and Sophia’s not only hit the mark it totally exceeded our high expectations. The rooms are perfect for privacy and space but not too spread out that a large gathering feels broken up. There are different hang out zones, nooks and spaces that will call to people at different times and there are plenty that are big enough to all hang together. 14 of us did yoga on the astroturf, under the pergola. And of course the main gravitational pulls are the outdoor kitchen and the courtyard pool! It’s cozy, clean, vibey, well stocked and definitely the Palm Springiest of the Palm Springs haunts. Look no more. Book it. ????

This is such a great set up. My friends and planned a couples weekend in Palm Springs at this AirBNB and fell in love with the experience. It is like renting your own boutique hotel out. Each room has it's own lockable entrance and bathroom so everyone gets their own space and privacy, in addition 4 of the rooms have connecting "living rooms" with couches that pull out and kitchens which helps if you are preparing food for a large group. The pool is the perfect size for a party and the outdoor kitchen has a grill, pizza oven and sink for easy serving and clean up. It is a really great location, very quiet neighborhood and walkable to downtown if you don't mind a bit of a trek. There are bikes on property which is a super easy ride to downtown.Michael is the definition of a super host. He is on top of everything, very communicative, nice and organized. Definitely reach out to him with questions in advance of booking if you have them. Now the small items that weren't perfect (and I reiterate, these are all very small because we had such a good time but things I would like to have known before.) There are four rooms not included with the rental and there was some guests that would enter the area which was confusing for both parties, only happened a couple times but was still odd. We paid for early check-in at 1PM but the property was still being cleaned and set up until 4PM, didn't stop us from getting into the space but we couldn't get into the rooms until 4. Finally, the trees shed a ton, and it gets a little messy in the kitchen area because of it but not a big deal.

Our Annual Business Planning venue: perfect!!! This checked all the boxes for sunshine, great location, everyone having their private space, but the shared area (inside and out) was so perfect for our planning meeting. The venue feels like you are stepping back in time to the 50's and my team loved it! It is older but that is what created the character we all loved. And Michael was prompt with any questions of follow up we needed. A great place for group events that I would recommend to anyone!

This place was so fun for our group! Everyone had their own little room and the spa and steam room were big hits. We will absolutely be coming back!

Our friends and family had such an amazing stay at the Spirit of Sofia. This stay was truly one of our best experiences where we were able to have a totally secluded space for our party to relax and stay in! We had a party size of about 28 people and everyone who stayed could not stop talking about this place. Planning for that number of people is.. stressful. But it really blends the best parts of staying at a hotel and an Airbnb together. Everyone gets their own private room and we are all so close in proximity that it still feels like we are spending quality time together. The amenities on the property were so great, no one wanted to leave! We swam in the heated pool and jacuzzi, setup some board games in the common area, and even had a chance to use the steam room to decompress! Any requests or minor issues we had were also immediately handled, I'm talking within minutes. All in all, nothing but positives to say. We would love to come back and even make this an annual stay!

Michael was a great host for our offsite. He was always very responsive and so helpful with our group's needs. We would love to come back and stay here again. The property is beautiful and allowed for a great group trip while allowing everyone to have their own private space. 10/10

We had a great time at Michael’s place - the set up is amazing with a ton of outdoor space, comfortable rooms. Great spot for hosting a bunch of friends in town, which we were for a birthday! The host was very friendly and communicated well. We had a couple of hiccups, but they were able to send folks out onsite quickly and troubleshoot the problems and ultimately come to a good solution. Overall, a great stay!

A few hiccups but Michael helped us get everything resolved in a timely manner. The sauna wasn’t working, that was a bummer. Definitely think our side needs a fire pit so you don’t go to the other side. Bikes were fun. Definitely not for anyone handicapped the bathrooms are small . Dog friendly which is perfect. We loved playing chess. Perfect place to host our work Christmas party.

Very unique place. Like having your own private boutique hotel. Unique design with lots of character. Great for a having a large gathering a family and friends. Private rooms make with separate bathrooms make the stay more comfortable. Pool is clean and sparkling. Looks like it was recently redone. The only downside is that common space for group dining and kitchen/cooking is outdoors. If it's raining (hardly does in Palm Springs) this becomes an issue. Otherwise we loved this place and we highly recommend it.

Our company had a wonderful retreat filled with memories from making new connections and getting closer by sharing three days together at this private location. We plan to book with Michael at this location again.
